Samuel owned and operated a General Contracting business for 15 years. Starting out in commercial, he quickly learned how to manage complex projects keeping them on schedule and on budget all while providing quality results. He has since taken his knowledge to the residential industry and has built and renovated homes all over the city.
Rebecca Garvey
Rebecca was introduced to the home renovation industry at an early age, by her father who owned a construction company, thus developing an admiration for all things design and construction. She was determined to become a Designer and studied at Algonquin College in Ottawa. After owning and operating an award winning design firm for years, Rebecca’s signature style has become recognizable in the Ottawa area. She attributes her success to her ability to understand and connect with her clients, resulting in dream spaces created uniquely for them.

Alyssa Harmsma
Alyssa approaches every project with the belief that great design goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about creating spaces that feel effortless, personal, and deeply connected to the people who live in them. With a background in Interior Design from Algonquin College and years of experience in residential design, she combines creativity with a practical, detail-driven approach. As a Senior Interior Designer at Lev Design Build, Alyssa is known for her ability to listen closely to her clients and translate their ideas into homes that feel both inspiring and livable. Her work reflects a balance of timeless elegance and modern comfort, resulting in designs that truly stand the test of time.

Samuel & Rebecca met while working on a renovation project in 2017. After years of running separate design and construction companies, this husband and wife duo founded Lev Design Build to streamline their process and optimize the client experience. With comprehensive knowledge on both sides of the industry, Lev provides a seamless process for turn key renovations, custom homes or single design projects.
